Geno Berchiatti, Senior Advisor, started in the financial services industry in 1989, after stints as a Geologist and Sales Representative. After only 18 months as an advisor, he was promoted into management and for the next 10 years hired and developed dozens of financial advisors. Eventually returning to individual financial consulting following the Dot Com bubble in 2000-2002. He became fully independent when joining LPL Financial early in 2007 and founded Innovative Wealth Strategies qualifying for LPL’s Directors Club every year since.

Geno utilizes his 34+ years of experience to develop comprehensive financial plans to assist his clients in reaching their goals and objectives. His expertise has allowed his firm to design custom retirement income strategies to help his clients enjoy their retirement journey. Emotions and panic are the great distractors in growing wealth. Geno takes pride in sharing with his investors his ability to ignore the pessimistic media from each monetary crisis. Thus, avoiding the greed/panic emotional rollercoasters on which investors often ride. Which incidentally has allowed them to remain fully committed to their long-term plans. The majority of Geno’s clients’ origins are friends of friends or referrals from his flock.

Geno has a B.S. degree from Adrian College (Mi) and holds designations ChFC, CLU, CASL from the American College. Geno has resided in South Carolina since leaving the snow in 1984. He also participated in varsity golf and baseball all 4 years at college.

Geno is married to wife Ginny and shares a home in Greenville with her two children (1 attending UNC @ Chapel Hill) and an Ocicat named Odin. He is still actively competitive in amateur golf, with numerous club championships, a SC Senior Championship, and has participated in 5 USGA Championships. Also, he is an avid Cirrus pilot who flies regularly to meet with clients wherever they should decide to retire.
